OfficeMedium Gets Google Web Searching
Working on the feedback of our users, we've decided to quickly throw a new feature at you today (the list is getting pretty big). Someone suggested that since our Intranets serve as the complete workspace for the user, and that because everyone searches Google at least 100 times a day, wouldn't it make sense to be able to search Google from within the software?
Yes, it would make a lot of sense. So now you can do it. Simple enter a search phrase in the search box on the upper right corner. Upon pressing enter, it will default to search the Intranet content itself. But, you'll now see a 'Google' tab towards the top of the page. Press that and you're now searching Google from within the interface. Alternatively, you can navigate to the 'Site Menu' on the right sidebar and click on 'Search the Web'. Either works fine.

Useful? We think so. If not, it's easy enough to ignore it. We hope you enjoy and please keep the feedback coming in so we can continue to improve our software for you.
Features to look for in the future:
- Mobile access
- Self-backups
- Content API
- RSS feeds
- "Message of the day"
- Modular extensions (little more in the future)
- And more..
