Video Uploading Now Available

As mentioned earlier, we unrolled video support for OfficeMedium. This is a great example as to why we always stress that we want to hear your feedback. A business owner contacted us who wanted to adopt OfficeMedium as a collaboration solution to use with their clients. After explaining the needs of the business, he said that they need to post videos for their clients to see the progress of their work. It sounded like a great idea - one that many businesses could benefit from. Six days later and OfficeMedium now has video support. So keep the feedback and suggestions coming.

For those familiar with our software, videos can be added in the same manner as images and files. A "Videos" tab will be available on Tasks, Events, Resources, Blog Entries, and Private content items. As of now, the software will only support flash videos (.flv). Are your videos not in the flash format? Not a problem. We're compiling a list of free and simple video conversion applications that you can use.

After the video(s) are uploaded and the content item is created, the video will be embedded and it can be played right there without having to download it. Check out the screenshots below or just try the live demo.
