The report, shocking for some people, indicated quite a strong adoption rate of Enterprise 2.0 technologies, mainly social software, among enterprises. The Register published an interesting article yesterday analyzing traditional packaged software, the problems that businesses and I.T. departments are faced with, and a look at where things might be going. These articles interest me because it's time for companies to start really looking at the software that keeps their businesses running. And more importantly, that it's time to start looking for better, more efficient, less expensive ways to get things done.

Thanks to Steve from Crenk.com for providing a post about OfficeMedium. The post doesn't go into much detail about what the service offers but does elaborate on the move from desktop to online software, especially in the business setting. Steve mentions that Google and Zoho applications are enough for him, which seems appropriate especially if you're using them for personal use. OfficeMediums offers companies a complete, online, collaborative workspace.
