Why aren't changes shown right away?

Certain pages and sections are cached in order to boost performance and provide you with a fast interface. When a section is cached, a static copy is displayed so the software doesn't have to generate the data from scratch. This is what provides a faster interface. If you've recently updated content or data and the changes aren't visible, they will be within a minute or two.
